... And may the odds be ever in your favour!
Back in August, the English department of the school that I work at hosted a 'Dress as a Book Character Day' ... and I found out about it the day before. :S I decided on Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games in the spur of the moment.
My friend Carina graciously lent me the wig, hair-flower and eyelashes, and my sister *Veleven
lent me her earrings, jacket, flower brooch and some white face-paint and sealing powder. I also threw on some black leather gloves, pink tights, a pencil skirt and some heels. It was all a bit of a rush (and definitely not accurate!) but the kids knew who the library lady was supposed to be and quite liked it. I quite enjoyed dressing up as a lady for a change, too.
Also, different students came dressed as Katniss, Peeta, Rue, and Caesar Flickerman, which made it even more awesome! I wish I could post some photos of us all together, but I'm not allowed to.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
(P.S: I took this photo on my phone, so the quality's not the best, but *Veleven
is trying to teach me to use Photoshop, so we edited it a little together to try to fix it.)
